Today we are going to study BEES.

Hoy vamos a estudiar a las abejas.

FIRST, LISTEN THESE SENTENCES AND POINT TO THE PICTURES. (TRACK 36)

Primero, escucha estas frases y señala los dibujos.

1. LOOK A BEE. THE BEE IS ON A FLOWER. THERE IS NECTAR IN THE  FLOWER. THE BEE COLLECTS THE NECTAR FROM THE FLOWER.

1. Mira, una abeja. La abeja está en una flor. Hay néctar en la flor. La abeja recoge el néctar de la flor.

2. THIS IS A BEE HIVE. THE BEES TAKE THE NECTAR TO THE BEE HIVE. BEES USE NECTAR FROM FLOWERS TO MAKE HONEY.

2.Esto es una colmena. Las abejas llevan el néctar a la colmena. Las abejas usan el néctar de las flores para hacer miel.

3. THIS IS THE BEE KEEPER. SHE COLLECTS THE HONEY.

3.Esta es la cuidadora de abejas (apicultora). Ella recoge la miel.

4. WE EAT HONEY. HONEY IS SWEET. DO YOU LIKE HONEY?

4.  Nosotros comemos miel. La miel es dulce. ¿Te gusta la miel?
